[RECAP] Istanbul, Etiler Coffee & Dessert Crawl by Local Guides Turkey Group

Hello everyone ?,

Today I am going to share the details of Local Guides Turkey group’s meetup that was organized on Saturday. Although I have attended other meetups before, this was my first organization. That’s why I wanted to show some of my favourite coffee and dessert shops to other local guides.

Although there were 21 participants, our meetup has welcomed four people. I guess the answer behind this is Covid-19. Nowadays, Turkey has started to take precautions against this disease. That’ why it is understandable the decrease in the number of participants.

Anyway, on Saturday we met with the participants at Cafe Sanatçılar, it is located in the Sanatçılar Parkı. Since it has open areas, I thought it would be safer to sit in public areas. This place sells different beverages for the customer, but we change our destination to find better ones.

Our second stop is Starbucks, which is definitely one of the best coffee shops in this neighbourhood. I also like its desserts.

Then we arrived at Venüs Pastanesi, which is very popular with its desserts, especially its cakes and chocolates are very delicious.

The next stop is the Espressolab Etiler, it is a cozy place, and I guess everyone can enjoy having coffee and dessert here.

Our last stop was English Cake Factory, but unfortunately, it was close because of the Covid-19.

In conclusion, we have tasted different coffees and desserts, which made me very happy.

I hope we will continue to organize different meetups in İstanbul very soon, stay tuned and healthy:)

Istanbul is in list since 4 year, I truly admire the beauty of this city, I’ll visit there soon.

Thank you so much for your kind comment. Istanbul is one of the must-see cities. Unfortunately, these days we started having troubling days due to the coronavirus. I hope this will all be resolved soon .

Thanks for the reply, yes these days the conditions are not favourable due to cases of corona virus patients, Government of India banned the social gathering on places.

In Turkey, the situation is similar; people are paying more attention not to come together for the last ten days. Fortunately, they are aware of the seriousness of the disease.
