The Iranian new year will start in one week (March 20) and last Wednesday was an opportunity for some Iranian Local Guides to gather together and join the last meetup in current year.
The goal of this meetup was to introduce new some programs for doing more things as LGs in new year. Indeed this meetup was an start of new season in activities of Iran Local Guides community, 4 years after our first meetup that held exactly at same day.
In this online meetup, I introduced 10 organized volunteer fields that we try to collaborate on each every month. These fields contains from cleaning the map and taking good photos to sharing our stories and participating in challenges like cleaning the world and helping small businesses. I’ll share more detail on Connect in future.
After that we held a Q&A season and me and @SamanS helped other users for questions the map and its related things. We answered most of them we knew but we had no idea about some questions (for example question about profiles direct message in Google Maps), and we asked users to discuss here on Connect about them.
Finally we captured the meetup and left it. We were happy to continue our collaboration in more powerful way next Iranian year and planned to continue such online meetings asap.
