(Recap) India local guides (Virtual) Gujarat chapter

Last week I hosted a knowledge sharing virtual meetup for India Local Guides. It’s “Weekly Knowledge Sharing - Gujarat”. Through this meetup we planned to share Gujarat’s food and tourist destinations with our fellow local guides. I had a great response from my fellow local guides. But to my surprise, we’ve seen the participation of more than 50 local guides from around the world!

Firstly, I represent a small introduction about my state language Gujarati and shared some example with others.

After the introduction session a beautiful presentation of Gujarati Food was shared by LG @Tejal . After seeing this food pictures, Many people were hungry after seeing Gujarati food.

After Tejal’s presentation was completed, @rajuroyal started presenting the famous tourist destinations of Gujarat and gave information about these destinations.

As per itinerary we finished our presentation at 4:30 P.M.

The second part was to introduce yourself. The entire Local guide started giving their introduction one by one. There are 40+ LG’s were participated in virtual meet up. We all are very happy to meet each other virtually.

Lastly many new LGs are curious to ask question regarding Google Maps and Connect forum. Me and our senior local guides @AmbrishVarshney @user_not_found @deepakjhic and @JMD9 able to give them satisfying answer. And they are happy with connecting with us and all had very good quality time in this virtual meet up.

I would like to special thanks to our moderator @StephenAbraham for giving us great tips about local guide program and connect forum.
