[Recap] In search of sunflowers

Hello local guides!!! I hope are you doing great!

Yesterday we have arranged a photo walk meet-up in Faridpur. Recently in social media, we heard about a sunflower field in Faridpur and we were so eager to explore this field and nearby areas. So we fixed a date and went on exploring on motorbikes. Now I will give you a brief of the meetup. I strongly believe you will love the photos of the sunflowers.

First, we gathered at the Government Rajendra College. Then we started our ride to the sunflowers field. We love riding motorbikes. If you have missed our last Geo Bike meet-up then read it here.

After riding about 15 minutes we reached our destination. The sunflowers field was in the BADC, Faridpur. BADC stands for Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation which is the principal agricultural agency of the Bangladesh government. We were amazed by seeing so many sunflowers. It was a great view in the afternoon. We saw a lot of other visitors were enjoying the view.

We walked around the BADC premises and took a lots of photos. Here are a few of them.

After spending a great time and taking a lot of photos we went back to town and had small refreshing fast foods at a small restaurant. The food was great.

What a beautiful sunflowers! I love that bright yellow they have… And answering your question about traveling around the city riding a bike it’s a total YES. Here in my city I haven’t find any other Local Guides but I hope soon more people become part of this interesting program. Meanwhile I will travel solo around my city enjoying the cool views and doig contributions by myself. Great meet-up @SaifIS . I hope see you doing some others!
