I’m glad that we have done our Photo walk successfully at Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Japan on the last 15th of September. The Shibuya Crossing is a very busy place in Tokyo, and a lot of tourists visiting the place every day. It is located near the Shibuya Station in Shibuya, Tokyo.
It was adverse weathers, it was a rainy day, since morning to till afternoon, but it was stopped for an hour and we had a chance to explore the Shibuya Crossing and surrounding areas. The Shibuya crossing has 5 pedestrians crossing places on the roundabout, one of the world’s busiest pedestrians crossing. It also was a very busy during our visiting time.
When we exit from the Shibuya Metro Station, we watch the crossing from the 1st floor of the station building, the Shibuya Crossing looks amazing, peoples crossing the road if different directions and it seems everybody is in rush to go.
We also explore surrounding areas to see the accessible features, I am so happy to see that all the roads and the walkways are fully accessible. We also see that most the stores and restaurants are accessible, I found only couple of the shops entrance not fully accessible.
Such a wonderful meetup recap, @AbdullahAM bhai! I have been planning to visit Japan since 2014, but unfortunately, I still can’t make it. Thanks for sharing!
Shibuya is indeed one of the busiest areas in Japan, if not in the world. Glad to know you managed to explore this area while visiting Japan. I bet you all had fun doing the photo walk here!
I was always enjoying Hachiko statue, the food market in the station area, as well as the malls (they have Pokemon store and more!) and parks (including the Miyasitha open-air park at the rooftop with Doraemon statues there) around here.
Glad that you like the recap, i know it was a very busy day after long time travelling and we have morning walk as well; anyway hope to see you again @NileshNag
