Hello Local Guides!
Today I will share with you the Recap of my last Meet-up.
Accessibility Check-up at Chowmatha was a successful event, thanks to Mehedi Hasan Mithu (@m3h3dimithu), who played an important role in this Meet-up.

The meetup began with a focus on contributions to Accessibility features to Google Maps. We started from Govt Syed Hatem Ali College. We worked together to improve accessibility features in the area, adding necessary updates and photos to improve local visibility on Google Maps.

Inside the college we find that various places have good wheelchair movement but none of the buildings have not wheelchair access facilities. We realized there that a wheelchair user cannot go into a building alone but can move around the college. There was a primary school next to the college, went there and saw the ram for wheelchair access and took a photo of it and shared it on Google Maps.
As our contribution route we selected from the college some distance to the park.

On the way from the college to the park, I captured a front photo of a pharmacy and upload that to Google Maps. On foot we reach the park and as we explore inside the park we notice that the park has two entrances through one entrance wheelchair users can enter the park very easily and everywhere inside is wheelchair accessible but the other entrance is not wheelchair accessible. While leaving the park, we saw a Waffle shop and noticed that wheelchair users can easily access it, so we took a picture of the front and shared it on Google Maps.

After the contribution, we took a suitable break and enjoyed tea, Momo and Puri. It has provided a great opportunity for everyone to engage in a meaningful conversation about the new and improved new Connect. Mithu shares valuable insights of his own contributions and the broad significance of accessibility in mapping, inspiring both to continue our efforts in this area.

The Meet-up has not only provided an opportunity to collaborate on important contributions but also serves as a platform to strengthen knowledge exchange, the importance of accessibility and strengthen the contribution. It was a great experience filled with valuable discussions and delicious food.

Excellent meetup and recap post @KamalHossenR :+1:

The photo collages are nicely made and it seems all the places you visited including the park have good accessibility.

I like the food combination = Momo + Puri + Tea :yum:

My greetings to @m3h3dimithu :handshake:

Dear @TusharSuradkar
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to appreciate the recap. I’m glad you enjoyed the details of our Accessibility Check-Up meetup in Barishal. It was indeed a fulfilling experience to visit the park and surrounding areas, ensuring the accessibility standards and contributing those insights to Google Maps.

The interesting thing is that he and I live in the same city but we have never met before, we met for the first time through this meet-up and @m3h3dimithu is very sincere and it was great to be able to complete the meet-up together with him.

Dear @NunungAfuah
Thank you so much for your appreciation.

I heard the name Dumpling for the first time, never had the opportunity to eat it before, but hearing from you, I searched it on Google.
Both the dishes are almost similar, there are some differences between them, click here to know more
