This Sunday was absolutely special for me when 10 LGs across Delhi NCR joined this meetup in-person undeterred by the scorching heat. Despite the challenging weather our LGs’ energy and dedication was unmatched.
We started our meetup with Volunteer introduction and shared our Google Maps journey, and then we took a tour of the Place ( Ravana Mandir) which is a unique temple dedicated to Ravana. and also visited Prachin Shiv Mandir which is in the same compound
after this we sat for a quick #ChaipeCharcha (participating in the Challenge created by @TusharSuradkar) where @ShreyaMusings shared update on our Mega Meet preparation over a nice cup of tea and how we can make the Mega Meetup successful
and then after Chai we planned to Drink something Cold to #BeatTheHeat (participating in the Challenge created by @MathanVibranarayan) and headed to a restaurant which was around 4 kms from the mandir, We ordered Cold coffee and Shikanjee which was a saviour and absolute win in 38 degree Celsius temperature
A big thank you to each volunteer who showed up and made the gathering meaningful. Your passion and resilience reminded me what a difference a united community can make.
@Manishhh even the Delhi heat can’t stop a dedicated group of LGs! That Ravan Mandir tour followed by chai and cold drinks sounds like the perfect balance of exploration and beating the heat. Huge props for making it happen! Congratulations all the participants
Congratulations…
Great & successful meet-up dear friends @Manishhh@K.K.Sharma@Ssiddharth2000@ShreyaMusings and team…
Sincerely. I enjoyed your virtual photo-walk…

All the best…
Excellent recap post of an amazing meet-up. Congratulations @Manishhh on organizing this special meet-up. It was an honor for all of us to see senior LG @Kumaarsantosh attending the meet-up as well. We all had lots of fun, and learned about the ancient place where Ravana was born.
Happy to read your recap @Manishhh. Joined you people virtually and thanks for showing us the beautiful Temple. Congratulations on your successful meetup. All the photos too are nicely captured. Taking Chai pe charcha and Beat the heat challenges together is great. Keep going.
It was a very interesting and interactive meet-up experience showered by each one of the LG’s present there. @Manishhh thanks for conducting this meet up, distance didn’t matter but sentiments did matter.@Kumaarsantosh thanks for joining in, @Hemendu sir shared his journey and showed his passion for history which we all enjoyed, @K.K.Sharma revealed so many things we can all do as LG’s in our upcoming meet ups and thanks to @SonamW@Nomad_Enkay@Ssiddharth2000 and new joiner @shivanandmodi@Amitsharma007 for being part of this amazing team. Looking forward to meeting you all in the next meet up on 24th May at Asola Bhatti wildlife sanctuary
Thank you @Manishhh for organising this meet up.
Never knew Ravana’s Birthplace was so close from Delhi.
The curiosity and the urge to know more about this place made me forget the heat and the distance .
The enthusiasm each participant carried, was so high, that nothing could stop this event from becoming successful. Kudos to you.
This was my pleasure @Ssiddharth2000 to meet you all in person. I planned couple of in-person meet-up early this year, but other than you and @ShreyaMusings, I could not meet others.
This was a great opportunity for me to say ‘Hello’ to you all and learn from you. Thank you for being there.
