I am glad that I have an opportunity to host the first meet-up of this year, 2025, of West Bengal.
This is my most wonderful hosted meet-up till now as it was physically joined by our senior Local Guide of Kolkata @ReshamDas and another old fellow guide Sayantan, also this meet-up I got the largest amount of attendance.
So I reached the park by 03:05 PM, and met Resham at the door, Sayantan reached there almost 1 and a half hours before us.
When we entered the park I did not expect that it was full of crowds, everywhere there were people doing picnics, DJs, people dancing, various rides and playful activities for children, and much more.
The thing that sought my attention was the Phuchka (Pani puri) stores, there were so many phuchka hawkers available there today, and there were so many pakoda and bhel puri stores.
The virtual meet-up was started at 03:15 PM and last for almost 30 minutes it was joined by:

Glad to finally meet you and get to know you, @Shaunak during your meetup today at Taratala Nature Park, Kolkata. It was a great event we had today in presence of @SayantanDatta - one of the founding figures of the West Bengal Local Guides community, who travelled a long way from Naihati about 60 km away to attend this meetup.
Thank you to all the community members from WBLG and India Local Guides community, the Connect Moderators @NareshDarji ji and @TusharSuradkar ji for joining virtually and inspiring us, as we explored the pleasant venue on a winter weekend evening.
