Hello, Local Guides! Friends!!

Now the rainy season is underway. Many areas in Bangladesh are currently flooded. Many villagers are trapped in the floodwaters. This Sun in the middle of it. This rain. There was a lot of rain on the night of 24/07/2020. Due to light rain in the morning on the day of the Meet-up. The Local Guides /Local friends were supposed to participate in the Meetup but no one came. So I decided to continue the same activities. I started the event on time. The target of Meet-Up:

The business was closed for half of the year due to Covid-19. Such as Grocers/ Restaurants/ Pharmacies and Others. Verify business information ad upload accurate data to the Google Map.

Meet-Up Plan and Work:

I Plan to verify the Google Maps information from Eliotganj to Cumilla Dharmapur. Since I have to go to different places. So I rented a car(Small) for the whole day. Eliotganj is about 50 Km road from Cumilla Dharmapur. The program started at 11.30 am O`clock in the morning. I verify the following information by talking to different business owners.

Failed and Sorry: I found a few grocers and restaurants. The mobile number is not added/given on Google maps. Not a good Photo. I politely told them that your business phone number or good photo was not added/given. I want permission to upload a mobile number/shop photo. Whenever I say a few do not. The two actually got angry at me and hit me.

Note: I think it is important to have the ID or Password(Code) of each Local guide to doing this.

thank you very much for sharing your interesting post.

It is really important that the places have the correct informations on Google Maps.

That is not good that the employees at thefew grocers and restaurants were so rude to you.

I experienced a similar situation: I took a photo in a post-office for Google Maps. The employees were unfriendly to me and they absolutely wanted that I delete this photo.

I think the employees should accept it when we add and correct informations on Google Maps because we help many Google Maps-users.
