Hello all my Local Guides friends, yesterday was one of our another milestone moment that we proud as Local Guides Surabaya community member and in the beginning of this year we will on fire again!
At This time we collaborate with Good News From Indonesia, the biggest platform in Indonesia that has the most active youth market. This time I was invited to share about becoming a Regional Local Guides that has a positive impact on Indonesian tourist destinations. I share how to contribute through Google Maps to provide photos that are relevant to the points on Google Maps.
This sharing was the first to be initiated by Good News From Indonesia to facilitate the ideas of young people in Indonesia who have made the nation’s name proud through its works. This event held in Visma Coworking Surabaya. Attended by around 50 people and could have been more because of the rain, so many were unable to attend, I am very grateful and appreciative to those who have come amid heavy rain and traffic jams in the city of Surabaya.
It was a bit sad because when I registered this event on the official Local Guides Meetup it was rejected because the reason was not relevant to what was required. Okay no problem, because for me spreading positive energy like this collaboration would not hurt, even this is an opportunity to further popularize the Local Guides program in Indonesia that very few people get to collaborate with Good News From Indonesia.
