[RECAP] Fun ride - Kerala state challenge #WorldChallenge

This is the recap of the Kerala state challenge conducted on 22nd May 2021 by @Denise_Barlock , @jayasimha78 co-hosted by @Dr_AlwyPaul as part of the #worldchallenge.

Let me tell you this is the fun-filled and toughest state challenges I have attended and the competition levels were very high. Salman has rocked the show with a whopping 8000 points and won this challenge.

The challenge started with 20 fellow Local Guides and a few joining later on and all the participant’s names are put in a spinning wheel and given a chance to select a question from the given categories and all participants should answer the question in 25 seconds.

The questions are very interesting ranging from numbers to cultural and geographical facts about the beautiful state of Kerala. Not to mention the food is a special attraction. Most of the questions are gathered from the articles posted by @jayasimha78 , @TusharSuradkar , @Dr_AlwyPaul and @StephenAbraham

The first question is picked up by @TravellerG sir and he also shared a few things about his beautiful state Kerala. Jaya made sure that everyone can pick a question by removing the winner names from the wheel that I loved.

At one point, some participants started confusing the other participants by saying some wrong answers, which made this session more fun-filled.

Rosy ma’am also shared a few experiences with her Malayali friend and their lineage practices.

I would also like to put up some question here so that my friends who were not able to join the challenge can have a bite of it and they can also try answering them as well.

Q)Name of the oldest teak tree in the world?

A.Kanimalar B.Kera C.Kanmani D. Kannimari

Q)What does the word ‘Kera’ mean

A.Land B. Banana chips C.Fish curry D.Coconut tree

Q)Onam sadhya is a feast meal, consisting of at least how many dishes

Q)What do you see on the top right corner of Dr Alwy Paul’s first food collage?

A.Fish curry B. Biryani C.Poorotta & Beef D. Fish fry

I feel I should also mention the Denise formula of all the long options being the right answers.

I also want to thank my friend @Dr_AlwyPaul for the opportunity to present the recap of this amazing challenge.

Like many of us, I also have this dream to visit this paradise state, and I plan to visit after this pandemic.

I want to thank each and everyone for making this challenge a memorable one.

Great recap @Harsha_Reddy !!! Also congrats to @jayasimha78 , @Denise_Barlock @SilvyC and @Dr_AlwyPaul and rest of the “state challenge team” members!!

I was unable to attend because I was preoccupied with other important priorities at home. I am glad to see @TravellerG sir attending so late as per his daily routine for his home state challenge. :grinning: He had significant contribution towards Kerala state challenge posts specially being his home state.

Congrats @SalmaanN for winning the game!!!

Cheers!!
