Hello, Local Guides!
We (Bangladesh local guides (BDLG) community) just completed our 138th meetup. It was the Fruits Up Bangladesh 2.0
It was a kind of sequel event of the last year’s Fruits Up Bangladesh. Last year it was so much enjoyment. This year we had the plan to do the same or even more. But the Covid-19 situations forced us to do it virtually.
We started the program at 9:00 pm as is was scheduled. At first, I welcomed everyone for joining.
Then, it was the introduction season. We had 3 people who joined for the first time in any kind of Local Guide Meetup. And few more who joined any virtual meetup for the first time.
Then, we went forward towards the discussion. At first, Polash Hosain bhai showed and described us about several types of Mango 
It was amazing to know about several species of Mango.

Then It was Jackfruit our country’s national Fruit. Easin Rasel bhai told us a brief about jackfruit.

In the meantime, @MukulR bhai joined us with a very funny picture (the right one) of the jackfruit. We enjoyed the image and laughed a lot. He also showed us some cooked versions of Jackfruit. Thanks 
Then, I talked about Jam (black plum) while @AbdusSattar bhai joined with Lichu (Lychee) and Koromcha (Carissa carandas)

Later then, Mazharul Islam bhai showed and described us a very rare fruit named Falsa. Many of us never shaw the fruit, even some never heard the name as well. It’s about to extinct nowadays.

After that, Dr. Santanu Barai showed us Gab (Velvet Apple), Jamrul (Java Apple), and Kamranga (carambola/star fruit) from his home. And gives us some tips about which fruit we should eat, which we shouldn’t.
Later Rehan Al Amin bhai told us about an interesting fruit called Dheu/Dewa (lacucha). It’s kind of sour but too tasty.
Then, we talked about a few other fruits like Pineapple, Banana, Lotkon (Baccaurea motleyana/Rambai), etc.
After fruits discussion, Arafatul Islam bhai told us his friend’s situation who is sadly covid19 positive 
He requested us to stay safe.
Then, @MahabubMunna bhai reminds us of some of the ‘Local guides’ rules and regulations, Which were very important.

Then, it was time to say goodbye. I thanked everyone for joining. Then, I requested everyone to tell us their opinion about the meetup.

The highest number of people was 41, but I guess around 50 people joined the meetup.
As it was my first hosted virtual meetup, at first I was a bit nervous. But personally I enjoyed the season. How about you?
