RECAP - FoodieFriday Manchester Local Guides

Hi Everyone,

Me and @deadmanjones have just hosted another amazing meetup in out local part of Greater Manchester, Stockport. This time is was at a Monthly Food Market called FoodieFriday! (last Friday of the month)

We had 3 New #Localguides join us which was very exciting. And 2 Old not so active members which also came which me and @deadmanjones where able to encourage along.

Its based on the now very trendy idea of the produce halls that are poping up everywhere, where lots of small interdependent company’s come together to create a (often permanent and indoor) market hall of different food outlets, but the great thing is, at if you like Chinese then you can grab that, when your mate who likes burgers and halloumi fries can go to 2 other stalls to get his food.

Needless to day, its an amazing combination, which draws me and my friends in lots!

We did another meetup to Mackie Mayers in Manchester town centre with @AdrianLunsong if you want to see more!

This was one of the best burgers you can eat ever… And Yes it was a double!

We also had an amazing chance to visit a very new bar called #Vinabod, which was themed as a viking bar! What an amazing idea! Even better it was a only a one day trail opening before they launch in 2 weeks time.

So Yes it was a chance to add it to google maps, do the first reviews and also upload all its photo!

Do we have a tag for the n00b? Excellent conversations in vinaböd as the krampus mead flowed!

Apologies @TimBull and @deadmanjones for missing out. I’d forgotten about my colleague’s leaving do. And I’ve been super busy too… still hoping for time to write the Home Theater recap!!
