Saturday, 19 July was special day for us Batu Local Guides. First, some of our member are initiating social act by distributing free health mask to the worker around Batu City. In the same time, we also invited by traditional food restaurant called Soto Ayam Cak Son. The attendee is Mr @br14n , mrs @Annisa1208 , me @Arisnizam , Mr Iswahyudi and his wife Mrs Siswi, Mr @slamsmart , Mrs Fay and her husband Mr Ophiek. For introduction, Soto is traditional Indonesian dish similar with soup, but the ingredient is made from many herb. The broth itself made from chicken stock mixed with few spices, then added with chicken meat and boiled egg.
As our agreement with the owner, we will visit the place at 11 am. Precisely at 11 am, some of our member including Mr Brian arrived at the location, while the remaining member arrived half an hour later.
After having a feast, Mr Ukie as the restaurant Marketing manager having a discussion with all of us about the future of this restaurant and how local guides can improve the market share of the business. Mr Brian suggested that good and honest review is the key to gain loyal customer. Mr Ukie apparently also attracted to join Local Guides in the future.
At the end, we enjoying a warm tea accompanied with folk musician from Onthel Bike Community that performed a Dutch song titled *Geef Mij Maar Nasi Goreng,*which originally sang and composed by Dutch singer Wieteke Van Dort. They wearing old colonial uniform that add the feeling of the vintage era.
