My 2nd Accessibility meet-up was at Zainul Abedin Park, Mymensingh!
I’m trying to find the accessible places in Mymensingh and add them on Google Maps; it is a part of #AccessibleMymensingh banner. During this event I have visited the Zainul Abedin Park, Mymensingh.
We checked all the necessary information about the accessibility that would be helpful for others those are differently able. We started from the main entrance to the back to another gate as this park has two accessible entrances in the park.
There are few food shops inside the park, we have also checked the food shops also, and as the food shops are always busy with the visitors in the park.
The long walk ways inside the park are nice and accessible for wheelchair users.
There is a big stage inside the park for any cultural event or filming any local drama. We found a ramp to access the stage.
There also many sitting places inside the park, where people can sit and pass the enjoyable moments.
There are two Toilets inside the park but they aren’t accessible for wheelchair users.
Drinking water, drinking water is available in the park and it’s free of cost, visitors can drink the Tap water from water supply line or may also direct underground water using the Tube well.
Lastly, during the meet-up @MukulR vai joined with us virtually, I would like to thank you for joining with us virtually during the event.
