Hey people,
So I had the privilege of going to Vanilla Restaurant and Lounge the other day and I will be giving a quick review.
Of course I had to slay to this restaurant because it has such a distinct and appealing interior that I couldn’t miss a photoshoot opportunity. Anyways straight to the review. Let me show you the food first then we talk about how it tastes.
Let’s start with those potatoes and steak. This is a meal I want to keep having because the potato was done well and the steak was particularly juicy. I was really sad when it finished. The jollof rice on the other hand tasted just like homemade jollof and that spicy goat meat on the side was the perfect addition. I truly enjoyed it.
if you’re salivating already, wait till you hear about the mashed potatoes and grilled salmon. The mashed potatoes came with some really sweet sauce that made it even more delicious and the fish was spiced to perfection. Definitely a favourite of mine. We had the buffalo bites and chicken satay for starters but sadly I didn’t get to try it; I’m pretty sure that it would have tasted divine for some reason.
The chicken noodles stir fry had a taste that was quite unexplainably delicious. The surprise is actually when that juicy chicken bursts in your mouth when you chew. It’s actually an experience and quite the meal.
Finally, the Oreo mudslide should be a flavour of ice cream at this point. It’s actually a cocktail comprising of baileys, ice cream and other things creamy and I couldn’t get enough.
I truly enjoyed going to Vanilla Restaurant and whenever I seek fine dining, I’ll definitely be back.
