History :
Kolkata was the first city in India, where the underground metro railways started Then the metro railway connects the two major parts of Kolkata North Kolkata & Central Kolkata. Later the extension had been done and south Kolkata also got connected. But the East West area was not connected by metro.

Currently :
The latest story is East West Metro has been started just a week ago. So we did a Map editing meet there. The meet up was successful though engagement was low. The Metro railway in Kolkata was really smooth & clean. Well decorated.

The Metro makes life very fast easier. The transform of transport system in Kolkata is really great.
