Today we had one more interesting meetup in Dubai… as we have moved from G+ to Facebook we are now trying to bring the people again together in Dubai, what interesting fact here that there are a lot of new local guides and looking for the way to find like minded local guides… one of the meetup objective is to meet them
And we did it finally today, the place was near Dubai Mall… in Souq Al Bahar … which is a step back in time to the wonder of old Arabia … located in Downtown Dubai’s heart… it is lively marketplace… entertainment and dining … overlooking Dubai Mall… which is connects via a bridge that spans over the famous of its dancing fountain Burj Lake… in Souq Al Bahar you will find a lot of heritage and handmade products and shops which takes you to a different experience from Dubai Mall
The meetup subject was simple and descriptive … social … where we met together and had a valuable discussions … knowledge sharing … knowing about each other as most of us are new there so we made a new friends which having many common interest of volunteering and contributing to the map …
Within our discussion we shared the interest to reach more local guides who are not aware of our Facebook, meetups and WhatsApp group
Same time we have explored the map powerful features, events management, Map listing management, local point of interest search filters / options and many other map related topics
