One more successful meetup achieved by Dubai Local Guides, many thanks to the local guides who joined the meetup, @Carl , @MohammedHussain and @japethpido19
First, Hussain surprised us with meetup day steps count, he achieved around 21,000 Steps by the end of the meetup.
The place ,
The meetup was planned in the old part of the city -Al Seef – which is designed to reflect the city’s culture and heritage, as well as its status as a modern cosmopolitan city. Here you can choose to enjoy food, tea or coffee as you watch dhows in Dubai creek waterway, or wander the interconnected paths and walkways
Al Seef atmosphere designed by marina, traditional souk, cafes, restaurants, shops, and an events plaza, where shows, events, and cultural activities will carried there in additional to a hotel that will be open shortly
The beauty of the place that it’s connecting the past and present and showing the original Emarti culture
The place will also includes a floating market and pontoons, floating restaurants, art galleries, and shops selling locally made Emirati crafts
Earlier this area was famous street as the night market during Dubai Shopping Festival days, it was simple marina area and the new design achieved in the last 2 years

4 amazing local guides joined the meetup and we enjoyed our time, other local guides who couldn’t make it apologised, the meetup start point was Baskin Robbins where we enjoyed our Ice cream and carried our discussion about the Summit, Connect Live, our news, and many interesting local guiding topics J
