Hello Fellow Local Guides,
As part of M’illumino di meno, I promised to plant some flowers with my kids today. But unfortunately as I was planning to do this in my new home, I could not because of ongoing works in the property.
Instead of planting flowers, I took my kids to a former council beef abattoir that is today a cultural center call Somewhere Bonnassama.
As I always want them to be aware while growing about the importance of preserving our planet, it was for me a good opportunity to learn them that we can recycle thing that we use in our everyday life.
Somewhere Bonnassama is a center open to the public that brings together artists from our town and elsewhere in various fields. For my little visit with kids, I choose to browse the works of art from recycling objects in the center. I was very far to imagining what their reactions would be in front of those different sculptures. They were all curious about what these works were made of, why they were there, who had created them…
Thank you @ErmesT for this great initiative that inspire me to organize this family meetup time.
