Diwali Market Walk Recap
Hello Local Guides,
Wishing you and your family and loved ones a very happy Diwali and prosperous New Year!!
We had a slight change in location and date for this meet-up because I wanted to look at a vibrant, most happening market during Diwali in Pune. Although we all knew that it would be the most crowded place on earth that weekend, we chose a small but lively location to feel the vibes within the locality. So we visited Tulshibaug Shri Ram Mandir and surrounding market in Tulshibaug and Mahatma Phule Market, or famously known as Mandai (means market in Marathi local language) area.

We explored the vibrant Diwali market at Tulshibaug, known for its wide variety of traditional Maharashtrian decorations, handicrafts, and sweets. It is located just opposite of the famous Vishrambaug Wada of Peshavas.

- The shops around that were full of local metalware items, exclusively from brass, designed for pujas and celebrations.
