Firstly thanks to every participants who showed up and special thanks to @user_not_found and Maheshwar Sir.
The meetup started with the introduction of Local Guide program. After the intro, we jumped into the new interface of Google Maps. I walked through the different tabs so that they have knowledge of where the feature exist.
Since all the students were from the Hotel Management stream, I focused more on the addition of business listing and gave some idea about the Google My Business Dashboard as well. I shared some of the benefits of the business listing and how can they promote and manage their business or business they work for.
The section continued with other features like suggesting the edit, adding photos & videos, posting reviews,…
The floor was opened for any query after some live presentation of Google Maps web and Mobile. Road addition feature was also shared after one participant ask for the same but I did mention that the feature isn’t available in whole Nepal for now.
The meetup ended with the note of thanks to the participants.
