[Recap] Daman-e-Koh LGC Anniv Walk

Purpose of this photo walk is to celebrate 3rd anniversary along with our local guides community in Islamabad. I have selected this tourist attraction place in Islamabad because I wanna support tourism in Pakistan and would like to share these places of Pakistan with our global-local guide.
This photo walk has been arranged in response to 'Unofficial LocalGuidesConnect Worldwide Anniversary Celebrations’ by @KashifMisidia

To host this meetup I commute to this place via “Cream Ride” and make a video when I’m on the way. you can see in the Google Photo Album.

Firstly I go to Daman-e-Koh park and wait for attendees. One LG is attending this meetup but unfortunately, he not came. I contact @KashifMisidia , he joins me on WhatsApp via video call and gives me some helpful tips and encourage me to do this job alone and not cancel this meetup on this spot. I’m extraordinarily thankful for @KashifMisidia . This man helps me a lot of time when I stuck.

After all, I start this photo walk and take the first photo of the wooden pergola in Daman-e-Koh park. Especially I add the picture of those things which is instantly used by the public like a pergola, bench, grass plot, parking, pathways, playland, mosque, washroom and small businesses. You can check all of the pictures in the Google photo Album. You also check my review of Daman-e-Koh on Google Maps.

Then I go to Daman-e-Koh viewpoint and click some photos. From this point, you can see whole Islamabad and Rawalpindi just like a bird’s eye view. All the tallest building of Islamabad glimpsed very small. Check my review of Daman-e-Koh viewpoint on Google Maps.

I capture Faisal Masjid from Daman-e-Koh viewpoint in sunset effect. In the whole photo walk, I love this picture.

I also add some small business Pan shop, Sultan and Shah Foods and Hassan Tea Stall

I’m grateful to those who know me on this platform, awfully to @KashifMisidia.

Thanks for the tag @KashifMisidia yes it can be hard to get people to come along to a Meetup @Ramzan_bashir that is why its really important to do a Meetup for something you want to do so in case no-one turns up you’ll still enjoy yourself and have a good day.

Even I who done 75 Meetups struggle to interest people sometimes. I push out the details on my social channels and there is nothing wrong with encouraging your friends to come along with you even if they are not Local Guides because with a little push perhaps they’ll join in the fun.
