On Sunday 18 July 2021 at 10.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AES) I was lucky to be co-hosting a celebratory virtual meet-up for Connect’s 5th Birthday. The incredible Local Guides and hosts @Denise_Barlock and @jayasimha78 of the very popular #StateChallenge organised a whole weekend of special quizzes to get Local Guides from all over the world to have fun and test their skills about their knowledge of Connect and Google Maps.
As the co-host my job was to read the questions while the Local Guides who were playing had to choose from the multiple choice answers on the screen. A couple of the questions were even taken from @PaulPavlinovich 's posts about his photography meet-ups in 2020. I thought it would’ve been really funny if he actually got them wrong. Haha… @MaxPlusFood kept us all entertained and distracted us from the quiz with his funny face changing filters. At one point Max was a dragon fruit, then a coconut, pineapple and even a piece of toast.
We had so much fun chatting and laughing together but the actual winner of the quiz after a double or nothing final question was… @PaulPavlinovich

This was so much fun @PennyChristie and it really made my day, I had just come off my live streaming of a train simulator game, then jumped into this a bit late (sorry!) leaving on a high with a win then straight into another virtual meetup for Prahran tour. Such a hectic and fun day. Thanks for being part of it.
