[Recap] Colorful Munich Walk

Munich is such beautiful and colorful,

so I did looking forward to a fantastic Photowalk with a lot of participants!

The first follower is in fact very important, but I didn’t found anyone who was willing to join the photo walk… So I felt like the first guy in the movie:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fW8amMCVAJQ

And I will promise with once that I will try again to be the :man_dancing: dancer. Because:

  • I‘m Google Maps fan!

  • I have met via Local Guide Connect already such great people

AND

  • to give up to try to getting fun, is no option for me.

So, I’m happy when you like to see the story and other people like to join next time. I‘m also willing to organize a  crowl if needed .

So, Munich is very colorful. It already starts with the streets.

But the meeting point was the Fischbrunnen :tropical_fish: at the Marienplatz.

The Marienplatz in the center is really nice.

In the first minutes I was not so happy to walk alone.

But before having no fun, I putted one of my shoes in a while boar…

Some people stopped and smiled, so I could start with my tour without being angry.

In Munich you can find very nice different thinks, like :

Colorful costumes :

And a lot of nice people with dogs:

But in fact, their is something very special in the town. It is not so much colorful, but believe me, when you enter this places, you will see so much special Effects!

For example from today’s walk:

Very impressive, believe me.

I walked exactly the tour published in the meet up announcement and arrived at the Hofbräuhaus.

Is the biggest beer house in the world. Here I finally met someone and we did try some glasses…

I hope next time someone will join!!! It will be fantastic!

Hi @TorM ,

It is sad to hear, that you were the only one. But thank you anyway for the nice photos. Hope that your local community will grow and you’ll find some other LGs.

Thank you Ludwig.

Especially the posts from @user_not_found gave me the power to make meet ups without participants…

But the target is to have many LGs in Minich/ Bavaria (not only Franken) soon.

Hi @TorM

Cool. I love your recap.

On the other hand Torm, I am joining you and @user_not_found - I’ll write a recap of my meetup as my meet-up ended just by myself like you guys.

Due to heavy rain (storm) no one turned up. But I was determined and I ended my meet-up successfully.

Cheers

Show dedication for local guides program,

Captured colourful photos for Google Maps and for fellows,

This is the spirit of meet ups,

I have hosted few meet ups without any attendees,

Hopefully many will join you in next meet ups,

Hi @TorM ,

I know how you feel… I am trying to make meet-up in Nantes and in Croatia but without succes so far! We have to keep trying as the community increase day after day.

I am sure one day you will have a great LG team in your area ;-).

I have enjoyed discovering Munich with your walk. Thanks a lot and keep it up.

It is funny but the colorfull bag look like the gingerbread "Luciderska srca" from @user_not_found shown here.

You are right, a beer crowl could great.

See you around

Thanks for the photos, @TorM . A colourful city, indeed. I have visited Cologe and Bonn in Germany, I imagine Munich offers better experiences than either of them? I do hope to visit soon. Perhaps the next time I’m in Europe.

@user_not_found the reason is:

@HiroyukiTakisawa and

@AlejandraMaria

support the World Wide Café Walk, so no surprise that in this case more participants will show up :+1::+1::+1:

Heilbronn has around 100.000 inhabitants, Munich 900.000, so in Munich will join next time 9x3=27 Local Guides…:grin::grin:

Thank you for sharing @TorM

It’s a very beautiful recap

The number of participates is not important, we just enjoy meet-ups

Hello @TorM !

I am totally agree that Munich is beautiful and colorful, and your photos show us that.

Nice Marienplatz… and funny pics you made :))))))

You have done really great, doesn´t matter if you are alone. It´s very normal to see meet-ups with just the host… Doesn´t matter, we can do it alone.

I am very happy you have inspired in the active LG @user_not_found .

Congratulations!!!

And ready to the next Café meet-up!!! You will have a great time, even alone  because later you will share with us and then you will not be alone; we will be together.

Good Afternoon from the South of Spain,

Alejandra.
