Collingwalk II went off without a hitch yesterday. We had a great group with a number of new faces including @MariaNgo which is awesome to see. The walk was a combination Maps, Photos, Reviews and a celebration of the Google+ 6th anniversary.
We wandered through the streets shooting images both for us and some for Maps. We visited Libertine (a fantastic cafe) and Reclaimed (which I cannot add to maps… sigh. crazy approval robot knocks it back no matter what), Sunny bakery for the best BBQ pork (Banh Mi) rolls in Melbourne, had a beer at The Yorkshire before jumping onto a train into the city for dinner at Yamato finishing off with dessert at Fukuryu.
The weather simply could not have been better especially considering we are in the middle of winter fast approaching the Solstice. The group jelled really well and we didn’t lose anyone! Everyone had a really good time. We even found an extra person at Libertine who joined us and a couple of others who live near me joined us later in the afternoon.
