Hi friends,
Though the physical meet-up was completed successfully, the virtual meet-up session was more interesting & interactive with the participation of almost 15 LGs.
I reached Madiwala Lake Park by 4:50 pm (IST) for the physical meet & the photo walk. Starting from the entrance, the park, the lake & the boating centre were well covered.
The Madiwala lake is almost 300 years old and is one of the largest lakes in Bengaluru. This lake is built by the Cholas and presently comes under the Karnataka State Forest Department. An island in the centre of the lake provides shelter to many migratory birds during the breeding season. Boating is the primary entertainment here.
The virtual meet-up session started at 5:58 pm and continued until 7:10 pm. We exchanged LGC 8th Anniv greetings; also, we welcomed our @Gurukrishnapriya back to India, after her long journey abroad.I profusely thank our dear friends for their active involvement during the meetup: @ReshamDas @Mukul_Anand @RosyKohli
Though our dear @Erna_LaBeau was unwell, she attended the meetup from the beginning until the end - thank you so much.
Special thanks to Anil Singh ( @Anil6969 ) for the live demonstration and Ajit Thite ( @AjitThite ) for the meetups’ screenshots.

This meet-up was a part of Local Guides 8th Anniversary Celebration Meet-ups #LGAnnivmeetup by @NareshDarji @Tushar_Suradkar @KashifMisidia - Thanks for this great opportunity.
Though the walking track is muddy, the park is accessible for differently-abled persons; parking also is accessibility friendly.
Best wishes to all.
