During the meet-up Belgharia Railway Station was visited and :

  3. Check the accessibility of the toilets.
  4. Check the accessibility of ticket counter.
  5. Check the availability of visual indication for vision impaired.
  6. Check the availability of audio announcement in every situation for audio disability.

Regarding the above mentioned criteria here is some collages. Each one is marked with wheelchair accessible icon " :wheelchair: " with marking " :heavy_check_mark: " for PASSED and " :x: " for FAILED.

To update the accessibility status of Bengal, your effort is really just amazing! Kudos to you @KalyanPal for your such relentless effort. Belgharia is one of the busiest station on the Sealdah main section. And we have come to know about the accessibility status of this station with the help of you.

Many more to come from you.

@BidurC You can see this recap post and try to do the same at Amta Railway station.

Hi @KalyanPal

Congratulations on successfully completing annother outstanding accessibility meetup in W.Bengal.

You have an eye for detail and I liked the fact that you covered all the areas of accessibility in the railway station where the differently-abled would potentially access. The best part of the recap is the video, kudos to your efforts. IT is surprising to see that the main entrance has no ramps and no railings along the staircase.

Great job, my friend, and great going :+1:
