Hello, Local Guides,
Hope everyone is fine. This is the Recap post of the meetup named :wheelchair: #AccessibleBengal-02-Children school: Arabpur Primary School, Nadiaheld on 20th November, 2020.
This meetup was a part of #AccessibleBengal, a WBLG initiative to update the accessibility status of West Bengal.
The objective of the meetup was to check the accessibility status of the children’s school, Arabpur Primary school in Nadia district of West Bengal. The meetup was started at 10 am in the morning. Accessibility status (present or not) was checked during the meetup-

  1. wheelchair accessible ramp with handrail (present)
  2. wheelchair accessible car parking (present)
  3. wheelchair accessible toilet (inaccessible washroom)

Very nice recap indeed @PritishB I am very much glad to see the accessible ways/slope stairs in the primary school. In Bangladesh, I have seen the same accessible ways in some primary schools during my recent visit to my village. One day I will share the photos of them. Thanks for sharing this nice recap.
