Hotel Presidents Port Harcourt.
Accessible Port Harcourt was a huge Success, in fact one of my best and happiest meet-ups especially our additional plan to visit a Disability Centre as part of the Remembrance of Persons with Disability.
As planned, we met at Hotel Presidential;
the Hotel is Suitable because it’s located at the heart of the City. 15 persons indicated interest in joining the meet up but we were five that made it; 30 minutes to the top of the hour I was already at the Hotel Reception But Even Before I got there, Emeka was already there calling. At around 4:20, Mr Briggs joined us in the conference section of the Hotel
Mr.Best and Emeka.
And Soon thereafter, Praise and Kelvin joined. We Discussed the General Accessibility Issues In Port Harcourt, we ran a check on the accessibility of the hotel and can sore then 90% accessible. We noticed accessible entrance, accessible lift and more.
Accessible Entrance in the hotel .
we discussed on how to stir the interest of Port Harcourt Local Guides To work harder in quality and consistent contributions in the map.

Being A meet up to mark the International Day For Persons With Disability; we made a surprise visit to a disability home In Port Harcourt called the CHESHIRE HOME. We had earlier contributed money to buy few toiletries like soup Detergent And Tissue For The Visit. Despite the busy traffic, around 5:30 we got to Cheshire Home in Borokiri. As we drove into the Home Facility, we were warmly welcomed by the staff on ground who appreciated our visit. The Disabled were called out and we spent amazing time with them, offered them the little things we bought, assuring them of our love for them and taking pictures with them as well. They were very excited and happy for our visit.
