Nagpur has opened up fully under the Mission Begin Again by Govt. of Maharashtra. After lock down there are many changes happening on POI. The main objective of this meet up is to check the accessibility of the place and mark updates on the maps.

In Nagpur one of the main attraction is Nagloka Training Center which is Buddhist Educational Institute and has attractive walking Buddha Idol which is must visit place. In my meet up there were no one LG from Nagpur, so I was alone LG there.

The main objective of this meet up was to check the accessibility of the location and also photo walk.

The Nagaloka campus is situated over around 15 acres land. There are 07 residential halls, well developed classroom and modern library building. There is also kitchen facility available. Additionally we can see, a Dhamma Teaching Hall, a meditation hall, as well as an administrative building. All these architecture were designed by Master architect, Christopher Charles Benninger based on the architecture of Buddhist meeting halls that were found in India two thousand years ago which was Buddhist era. At the centre of the campus is the magnificent Walking Buddha designed and created by Master Wen Kwei Chan. In the flower garden we can also find the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The main objective of the centre which is available on their website is:

  1. To encourage people irrespective of caste, creed, sex, race, religion or place of birth to develop to the fullest their innate potential as human beings as exemplified by the great human being and the enlightened teacher the Buddha and other great human beings and wise men through practices conducive to that development such as the systematic cultivation of wisdom, morality, compassion, meditation, loving kindness, and such like.

Followings activity were performed:

I love everything about this place just by looking at the pictures so I can only imagine how great you must have felt by visiting this place that I had never heard of living in Maharashtra.

The Naglok training center not only has features but also facilities like a wheelchair to assist the differently-abled, this is truly remarkable.

Also happy to see you meditating @Rohan10 :+1:

The store looks attractive - I will definitely purchase something on my visit here.

Overall, a superb post and photos - can’t expect anything less than this from you
