The Worldwide Accessibility Walk (WAW) 2021 has come and gone. December 2021 would be a month to remember as Local Guides and as Accessibility Advocates. To mark the International Day of Person with Disabilities we encouraged Local Guides to host meetups through the week. The high point of the celebration was our webinar which featured Traci Cappiello @TraciC as our special guest.
As usual we had some questions for Traci and @ChinonsoOnukwugha did justice to the session. Participants also had opportunity to ask Traci some questions. We talked about Local Guides contributions to accessibility on Google Maps and the impact it has made across the world. She tells us how her passion for accessibility started and favourite contribution on Google Maps.
You can watch the webinar, to see how the conversation transpired.
Take a look at all our webinars for the year and hear from the experts on disability issues. If you would love to learn more about disability, accessibility and related topics, do check out our weekly articles here.
