The Aba Photo Walk was held on 8th February 2019 at 7 Factory Road, Aba, Nigeria. It was the first Local Guides meetup in Aba and the entire Abia State as a whole.

Many Local Guides (old and new) assembled at 7 Factory Road, Aba at between 10.00am and 11.30am after which the google local guide presentation slide was used to educate the incoming Local Guides all about being a google local guide, how to make contributions and the essence of Google Local Guide. @nacojohn and Igwe Ibe were level 6 local guides who were part of the event. They shared their experiences about being local guides which motivated other local guides and the incoming ones.

After the presentation, we headed out to an iconic building in the city which was were Citizens Bank and Bank of the North some of the first banks that came into Aba was located. We added several businesses in the building and took photographs and wrote reviews. After that, we visited many buildings including CitiBank, DHL, BYC, Samsung World, Today’s Kitchen Equipment, United Bank of Africa buildings and made contributions. One of the finest bars in the city were visited and they welcomed us.

We also took street photographs, of the streets and city from different angles.

Bobby Ogugua and other members of CamSupports (a group of professional photographers) attended the event to know more on how they can make contributions to google map, a MaduabuchiUbani a freelance writer for This Day Newspapers attended the event and promised to write a feature of the event on the daily newspaper. Also Uchenna Anya were so passionate enough that he started same day to make contributions

The event was wrapped up at Crunchies Fried Chicken, one of the best restaurants in Aba, where we made contributions and had a light refreshment.

Our appreciation goes to Rad 5 Technology Hub for giving us the space, projector, screen and other gadgets for the presentation before heading out to the street.

Great Meetup @ChinomsoNzenwa - awesome to see so many smiling faces :).

You should direct your professional photographer to the Street View trusted photographer program https://www.google.com.au/streetview/earn/ which is aimed predominantly at people who wish to utilise their photography business with Maps.

This is awesome and encouraging
