[RECAP] A Unity Walk- New Delhi, India (My Experience)

The 21st June 2020, The day which brings a little change around my neighbourhood.

Took the initiative to join “A Unity Walk - India, on the theme Let refocus, rebuild, renew, Small Business.

The admin of this great initiative are taken by @AmbrishVarshney, @JMD9 , @NareshDarji @deepakjhic, @TPattanaik

Jotting my experience:

My meet up was in the morning hours (9:00-10:00 AM) I was all geared up with my mask, gloves to go around but unfortunately it rained in the morning so the road got a bit more messier than expected. I decided to go back to my room and did a virtual walk around. As living everyday filled with our own chorus, I failed to know my neighbourhood as much as I should, however few of the stores that I am familiar with I check upon were still showing closed so have made the necessary edits.

As I checked carefully in an hour I could manage to edit about eleven places only but beyond that it was an eye opening as I learned there are still so many business, eatery and small stores around me which are not in the maps yet. These days almost everyone has android phones with the internet yet little did they know about google maps edit etc.

Here after, I took the challenge not only for a particular day but to continue to do so and help more people around me.

Like mentioned earlier, though it’s been done virtually in that hour of the day it was definitely one of the most productive activities and more over learned a lot more than expected.

Heartfelt thanks to all the LG’s of A Walk Unity for endless support and encouragement.

Looking forward to more achievement and to help our community better.

Unity is strength.
