I have attended a meet up mentioned in the title on 17th March 2024 hosted by our very own Puneri local guide and google moderator @TusharSuradkar The meet up was great success as it was 30+ likeminded local guides who are passionate about the maps and local guides connects and are thriving to make maps more informative and useful for local community. During meet up local guides contributed by adding photos,information and verifying information of places visited,i,e Lal Mahal,Shaniwar Wada and Kasba Ganpati Mandir. Many local guides travelled all the way from Mumbai and Chhatrapati Sambhaji nagar enduring the long road/rail journeys which shows their dedication towards the program, It was overall wonderful to meet fellow local guides from city and city and outside city. I would be striving to attend more such meet us in future as well.
