[Recap] 36walk Melbourne/Collingwood otherwise known as Collingwalk IV

On 23rd of March along with a great many others around the world 36 Walk was run. The day started out quite dull and wet but soon resolved into a beautiful clear and hot day with a high of 34C (93F). Our intrepid group met at Gahan Reserve in Collingwood right next to the railway station before wandering down to the Yarra River, along the River Path then we had a break within the Abbotsford Convent for the Collingwood Farmer’s Market where we all got into various foods and drinks on offer before making a tour to hunt down some Street Art of which we found plenty. We had a couple more people who didn’t make the video below because they either left early or were not at the table when I did the rounds. I have to admit to my embarrassment when I turned to the first person I said “Richard” which is not his name - he is Jason who I’ve known for years. Sorry mate!!

Along on the walk during the day where Mellz and her daughter Ali, Jason, Ananda, John (left half way), Kelvin, Richard (yes we really did have one he’s the one who carries around that moustache), Charles, Frank, Kwangi, Seto and Terry.

We had a great day and earned our drinks by the end of the walk. We didn’t quite make it to the end of the walk route. When we came across the Rochester Hotel we all just sort of looked at each other, no-one needed much encouragement to step into the cool inviting building and sit down with a refreshing drink and some food.

ps. kids are allowed in Pubs in Australia
