The lockdown in Pune has ended and in the last phase of the unlock places of worship have been opened. Although they were open all the time people are increasingly visiting several gurudwaras mosques Jain and Hindu temples.
Access to Nandi Darshan and other parts of the cave temple is made easy via a peripheral sidewalk that has a leveled floor and has handrails and can also easily accommodate a wheelchair.
The temple bell and donation box are accessible as well.
A single step is considered accessible to a wheelchair hence wheelchair-bound devotees find it easy for reaching out to the Nandi and the donation box.
The Baneshwar Cave temple in Pune is fully geared towards embracing the differently-abled and though there were a few discontinuities, helpful people were always available nearby to ease the experience of the differently-abled.
