Yesterday I completed my 3rd Accessibility For All movement in my town. In this visit i checked Accessibility features of Tehsil office of Risod. In India Tehsil offices are made on Taluka Level town/cities. Tehsil offices are important offices in India for Government Schemes and other legal permissions and certification. This offices are always found crowded. So I thought to make this as my Accessibility Checkup place. People all over the Taluka including Specially-Abled (दिव्यांग) need to come here for Government Scheme related work. Hence it must be accessible friendly. The visited building is new and completed last year. The best thing about the place is,it has all the accessibility features. Each and every room on ground floor was accessible by wheelchair and for vision impaired person. We should praise our government for constructing such accessible friendly places and buildings for all. The complete ground floor of the building is absolutely accessible friendly for wheelchair and vision impaired people. First floor is not accessible by wheelchair but can be access by Vision Impaired. But all the important office departments are on the ground floor. The only thing that I didn’t like about the building was although it has accessible washroom and toilet but they were locked. I requested to the authority to please open the washrooms and toilet for use. They told me that they will make it operational in few days since the building is new. The office is situated near to the bus depot of town. Breakfast and good meal restaurant are also available nearby. This is all about my third accessible movement visit. Also I have written accessible features in review on google map for this building.
About stamping of icons I am using image editor on mobile. I have kept symbol folder ready in mobile. After opening of photo in image editor I insert symbol. This is easy and fast. Even immediately after clicking photo you can do it and upload on the spot.
Congratulations for the successful meet up and sharing the details recap too @kunal_gajewar Looksthis office building has good accessibility features. Thanks also for tagging me
