Hello, Hello Local Guides!
My Name is Kristen Horner and a Level 7 Chatsworth Ontario Area Local Guide. I’m Hoping to attend this years Local Guide Connect Summit In San Jose California.
Why am I a Local Guide?
For the past 7 months using Google Maps, I enjoy helping my community know about great places and not so great places. I’ve contributed mainly by writing detailed reviews, uploading photos of the places I go and answering questions. I always try to upload pictures so people can see the appealing things on a place. I try to encourage people to meet some new places like I did. When I got my new phone, I had no idea that the Local Guides was a thing and when I can across it and saw not many places were reviewed in my area I took it upon myself to start and I just can’t stop. I love meeting new people and other local guides. We try to meet once a month and go to a new pub or restaurant and it’s always good to connect.
This has to best the best local guide meet up when I saw this street, best day of my life so far. I can’t even tell you how excited I was to be able to find out my last was a street!!
