Hello. My name is İsa YAZICI ( İsa ⁼ Chris ). I live in Turkey and I’m elementary school teacher. I am 46 years old and have been teaching this for 22 years. I love my job. I love kids. it’s great to see them growing up. It makes me happy to contribute correctly to their personal development. I’m doing my best for a civilized society.
İ live in İstanbul. But, my birthplace Ordu is a city located on the Black Sea coast. I have a house there and I produce hazelnuts. I visit from time to time. Because my family lives there.
Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city. It is also a historical peninsula. Dolmabahçe palace and Hagia Sophia Museum are my favorite places. I often go for a walk to the historical areas of Istanbul. For example, Çırağan Street in Beşiktaş is magnificent for me.
Google Local Guides, I’m the Level 8 Guide. I contribute to Google Local Guides whenever possible. I don’t remember my first comment or my first contribution. Maybe it has been more than 10 years. But 3 years ago, Google offers excited me and motivated me to do so. The first offer was about Google Assistant. Then Connected Live 2019 offers came. It is great to motivate efforts.
I love doing good. As a Google Local Guide, I think I help people. I want to steer them towards their needs. Cheap and high quality shopping; It makes me happy to contribute to their right access to the right service.
So why am I making this application?
Frankly, I have never been abroad before. I have never been to an international event. America and Canada are the most curious countries in me. Traveling and getting to America is a miracle for me. If possible, I would like to extend my travel. Getting to know people from the world. To make new friends. Participating in this big organization in the Bay Area. It’s all incredibly exciting. I hope I have a chance to join. I continue to improve my English for this. I will definitely be ready when October comes.
I prepared a video of the Hagia Sophia Museum, which is one of the oldest buildings in Istanbul. Link: https://youtu.be/7FSib5c-1GE
Thank you to Google, who gave me this chance.
Good to see you.
