The modern urban environment, in my opinion, should first of all be convenient, comfortable for city residents, be pleasing to the eye, be friendly to people. In my city, I am primarily interested in leisure venues –clubs, theaters, exhibition halls. The trend of recent years, the creation of multifunctional places. No one is surprised by the exhibition space in which you can listen to a concert or a lecture or a cafe where a meeting with a famous traveler or a cooking workshop takes place, a library where musicians or performances are performed.
It is especially interesting for me to find such places where different types of activities are represented. Such multifunctional places on the one hand make it possible for people of different ages to spend interesting time on the other hand, they solve many social problems.
For example, one of their current social problems is the lack of interest in reading books among children and teenages. In the era of the Internet, it replaces literature , cinema, concerts, communication with peers. This problem is especially relevant for me, as for my mother’s twelve-year-old daughter. I look for places in the city where children can socialize, where there are books that can be picked up and read. My experience says that, traditional city libraries do not solve this problem . But in my city appeared a cafe where you can come to dinner and see, read and buy books. One of such places is the restaurant “Knizhny” here is a very interesting author’s cuisine and offers books on contemporary art, cinema and theater. In the «Knizhny " are exhibitions, concerts, performances. There is in our city an unusual bookstore for children “Bubuka”. Here you can play various games, look through books, drink tea with sweets. There are competitions, literary quizzes, master classes in drawing, sculpting, applications.
I would like to add to Google maps more interesting and useful places where teenagers can spend their free time- cafes, clubs, libraries.
