On Google Maps, you earn 5 points for each picture you upload. Be aware; don’t just take random pictures for the sake of the points. Instead, take quality ones.

The Local Guide experience depends on individual and communal efforts. The more reviews there are, the more beneficial and trustworthy a Local Guide could be.

4) Focus on Edits
You can earn 5 points on each approved edit that you make on Maps. Edits are beneficial both for you or and for other Google users.
5) Don’t forget to Answer Questions
Questions are there on Maps to help others. This is the main goal of Local Guide. Answering inquiries as they come your way makes you a good Guide
