I’ve tried to add this place now 3 times to the map, including with photos that completely proof the place exists though each time the place goes from being reviewed to not applied in 10-20 seconds.
Not sure whom is reviewing though with proof like this, why is it not applied FYI = there is another 11 photos of the playground.
I take one word out of it’s name, so instead of " Hare Puke Destination Playground " I used " Hare Puke Playground " and it’s now pending instead of not applied after 20 seconds.
The Google algorithms analyse different factors, such as the information submitted, the location of the input, your mapping activity, and other factors to make sure everything added to the map is accurate and follows our guidelines.
There are regions around the world where there simply is not enough information for some edits to come through successfully or immediately and it certainly has nothing to do with you personally. The more information you (or other Local Guides) collect about a place gives your input a better chance of getting through.
If you haven’t checked this post, feel free to do it, as it lays down different aspects, which I’m sure you’ll find helpful!
P.S.: I will relabel your post to How-tos as it fits better there.
The POI had plenty of information added that it shouldn’t be not applied within 20 seconds.
Website , phone number , photo’s ( one including the sign of the POI ) etc.
Sorry to say this though the algorithms that analyses this data, if someone enter the same data 4-5 times should be thinking " hmm maybe this site does exist " and sending the POI over to an actual human to evaluate.
I mean there are 4 web pages including a news article that shows this place exists.
I’ve now tried to get it added using it’s Facebook website which shows it exists, the news article webpage which shows it exists and it’s website pages.
The algorithms that analyses the data needs to be changed so that at some point like I posted above it thinks " hmm maybe this site does exist " and sending the POI over to an actual human to evaluate after the same person has entered the site many times.
Oh and FYI = Already read that post and like I said above, provided enough info which completely shows the place exists.
