Recently I have been to World’s largest film studio “Ramoji film City”. It is actually a big film City spread over a 1200 acres around span of area. U need a one whole day to visit this great film city. It is situated around 50 km away from the city of Hyderabad.
So, the first question arises is “How to reach there” ? A travel company “best bus services” provides bus services from almost every corner of Hyderabad to Ramoji. U can take that bus around 7 in the morning and it will drop u back to Ur place in the evening. These buses can be booked online so make sure to book prior two days of your visit as the seats get full soon. Keep little things alongwith u as u r going to spend one whole day. Keep cap/hat, goggles, water bottle, camera, glucose , medicines, scarf etc. Outside edibles are not allowed there.
So when u enter the film city, a bus will pick u up and drop u to the Eureka Center where few rides are there. Some rides are open for whole day while two/three rides opens on a specific time. Some rides charges extra and some rides are free. From “Eureka” another buses take u to the various beautiful points. Bahubali set, London Check Post, railway station etc. One thing which I recommend u to visit is “spirit of Ramoji”. It is actually a theatre show which was performed around 12:45 pm when we have been there. U can ask for the timings of the show from anyone there. That show was really spectacular. Some show was there in the evening too . But we were very much tired so we couldn’t make it possible to see the night one. So we watched the afternoon one only. During the show, make video or u can go live too as the show is really good and u will b wanting to share to Ur friends and family. After the show, we visited those sets which I have already mentioned above. Many good sets are there. I want u to go and visit all those sets and that’s y I am not mentioning much about those.
Bahubali set was really cool. The movie will start revolving in Ur mind as u see the different different sets.
London checkpost makes u feel like u have reached to a proper European place . Photos clicked there are pretty cool and u can make anyone admit that u were in any foreign location.
Railway station set was good and it was made in such a way that from one side it was looking as a “village railway station” and when u see it from another side it looks like a “city railway station”.
Mahabharat set was also there. It looks no less than any king’s palace. One of the Mahabharat has been shot there.
Apart from all these sets, many fountains are there, many gardens are there. So I would recommend u to go and visit this marvellous film City.
