Noodles: one of the most favorite Indonesian food.
Have you ever tried noodles?
You can easily find this food in East Asia (Japan, Korea, etc) and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, etc).
For me as an Indonesian, it seems like I can’t live without noodles … and rice (of course 
)
During Ramadan month, most of Indonesians prefer rice as the main dish for iftar, but some big fans of noodles never miss this tasty curly food to celebrate their achievements in this fasting month.
Today I’d like to show you some of the best noodles variants which are easily found around my hometown. They are extremely delicious and mouthwatering:
Mie Ayam Bakso
(Chicken Noodles with Meatball)

Mie Pedas Dimsum
(Spicy Noodles with Dimsum)
Location: Mie Djoedes Jombang
Mie Kwetiauw Goreng
(Fried Thick Noodles)
Location: Nasi Goreng Pak Latief Tulungagung
Mie Ayam Ceker
(Chicken Noodles with Special Chicken Legs)
Location: Mie Ayam Pare Kediri

Thank you for sharing these locations and all these photos with us, everything looks very delicious! Are these meals spicy?
Do you have a favorite noodles meal? Which one of these dishes would you recommend to a new starter to begin with?
Is there a particular meal which is considered as a must in your country during the sacred month of Ramadan? For example, In Morocco where I lived, Hariria is the ramadan’s meal par excellence. Harira is a soup and if you want to know more about it, you can always check the following link.

Hi @BorrisS , Thanks for your response.
Basically those noodles are not spicy, because usually the hot sauce is served separately, so we can adjust the spiciness. My favorite one is Mie Ayam Ceker ( noodle with chicken legs).
About the Ramadan special cuisine, in Indonesia there is a sweet fruit soup called “Kolak”
It contains banana, cassava, nata-de-coco, coconut milk and pandan leaf. People always drink/eat this for “Takjil” (opening Iftar)

-Mie Ayam MJ ada di timurnya IAIN Tulungagung
-Mie/Nasi Goreng Pak Latief ada di daerah Bago, ini recommended banget, gorengnya pake kompor arang bukan kompor gas Jadi aromanya khas bgt
