Raja Rani Fort, Arcot

We recently went to Raja Rani Fort in historical town of Arcot. The fort is maintained by Archeological Survey of India. The main gates were locked and when we checked with the locals, they have shown us the way to enter.

We saw a Canon lying on a support. There were two well like structures, prayer hall cum mosque was the remaining in the huge area. We were able to see only grass all around apart from the above structures.

Sharing here the pictures taken during our visit.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us, the area looks amazing!

Is this a famous destination among locals and tourists? Is there an entrance fee?
