In Italy, in June, it doesn’t rain as often but in this period it rains every day. I love taking photos in the rain and I love black and white photos: this is a photo taken on a rainy day

This photo is sick! So good! I love the black and white as well. It gives it a bit more depth and I love how there’s just this one person in the photo. Such a stunning photo.
Where in Italy is this? It also rains here quite a lot in June, but at least it’s warm rain and kind of refreshing. How did you make the black and white, straight from the camera or with editing program?

The rule (my rule) is: color with camera and after post production (I use photoshop). I love b/n images.
The picture is taken in Trieste (north Italy) and the square is “Piazza Unità d’Italia”. I think the bigger square near the sea.
Yes it’s quite warm during this period but is one week that it’s raining every day.

I some cases i prefer b/n to color images because color distracts and, it’s my opinion, with b/n images you cas better focus on the details.
When colors don’t adds details b/n is better (my opinion). Ok a black and white sun it’s not a sun it’s a moon
