It was a hot day in Bahawalpur and we weren’t expecting any weather change but suddenly just after my lecture i felt cool breeze being blowing around. Bahawalpur city is surrounded by Cholistan desert. The Cholistan Desert, also locally known as Rohi, sprawls 30 km from Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan and covers an area of 16,000 km². It adjoins the Thar Desert, extending over to Sindh and into India. The word Cholistan is derived from the Turkic word chol, meaning desert.

The weather change here in BWP is abrupt and same happened on 11 March 2020. Such a beautiful weather it became so I tried to capture the main entrance from sideby pose. Here’s the picture.
