Newly Renovated Warangal Railway Station – A Model of Accessibility and Cleanliness Warangal Railway station
I recently visited the newly renovated Warangal Railway Station in Telangana, and I must say – I am genuinely impressed and happy with the transformation!
This station has been upgraded with a strong focus on accessibility for wheelchair users and visually impaired passengers. The ramps are wide, well-designed, and easy to navigate, ensuring a smooth and dignified experience for everyone. Tactile paving has also been thoughtfully installed to help visually impaired pedestrians navigate safely through the station. It’s heartwarming to see such inclusive development taking place in public infrastructure.
Another thing I noticed was the neat and clean environment. Proper dustbins have been installed and maintained, encouraging passengers to keep the station tidy. It’s a huge improvement over the older version of the station.
This kind of development shows that positive change has truly started in our country. I believe the journey of transformation began with the launch of the Vande Bharat trains, and now many railway stations across India are getting much-needed upgrades.
A special thanks to Indian Railways for making travel more accessible, inclusive, and convenient. On behalf of myself and the Google Local Guides community, I express my gratitude for this thoughtful upgrade.
I hope all stations across India follow this path soon! Let’s continue to support and celebrate these positive changes.
