Yeah my pleasure ,This really old rail @Edilmar ?

Hi @Edilmar

Thank you for sharing this great black and white photo. What camera did you use? Did you edit the changes afterwards using a program or do you have this mode in your camera settings?

Is there a story behind this photograph? What made you take it in black and white? I like black and white photos when you want to enhance certain elements in the photograph.

What do you think? :slightly_smiling_face:

Olá @Nyainurjanah ! yes, it is a branch of one of the first railroads in Brazil, the “São Paulo Railway Company”, which started to be built in 1865

Olá @DanniS ! I use a Nikon D90, with 50mm lenses … I use a set of programs that were part of the purchase of the camera, “Capture NX-2,” Nikon Transfer “,” Picture Control “,” View NX-i "… which I update periodically. I already have some presets on the camera, and then I correct something like geometry, the white balance (here in Brazil lights and colors are very strong and contrasting!); but I always try to do it correctly since the first time, since I plan what to do in the places I visit … the photograph was taken on one of the old railroads built in 1865 in this region, and they are very interesting and mysterious, due to the stories that surround them … I believe in b & w it would be even more interesting, for the impression of distance and the perspective and the forest around…

@DanniS I really liked its palm trees, and the starry sky, the night light … I think how difficult it must have been to capture this image!
